Summer Project 2008

As is the custom during the months of summer that coincide with vacation, we were able to count on the participation of various universities:
- Reed College, Portland Oregon, USA
- University of California Berkeley, USA
- Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador
Thanks to their colaboration and to other volunteers from Ayuda Directa, the following activities were executed:
- Construction of solar panels
- Construction of ecological stoves
- Construction of a communal stove for the community of Lupaxi Bajo
- Preparation of gardens destined for the use of the primary school and Community
- Maintenance of the school in la Esperanza

Thanks to the presence of Dr. Enzo Bertamini, a medical brigade was organized in the communities of Rodeo Vaqueria and Lupaxi Chico.
