From July 17th to August 2nd, Summer Project 2009 was completed with volunteers from the University of San Francisco of Quito and Reed College from Oregon, USA.

Project Program
- Friday July 17th, 2009: Cultural Orientation meeting
- Monday July 20th: Arrival in the community of La Esperanza

Activities

- Community of Toropamba: construction of a community kitchen
- Community of Cagrin Buena Fe: Construction of a community kitchen
- Community of Huacona Chico: Construction of an area for the growth and maintenance of cuyes (guinea pigs)
- Maintenance of the school in Esperanza
- Continuation of the project "huertos escolares" "School Gardens"
