Education for a better quality of life
Based in the idea that only with a good education one can face life with a new perspective, we offer children in Ecuador scholarships that cover the educational costs during the scholastic year.

What we do...
We select families in need with children of scholastic age, giving priority to the most need-based situations. We ask that the children provide us with a photocopy of their grades and we help by covering the costs of attending school throughout the year.

What you can do...
You can help sustain this project through your financial contributions. All you need to do is contact Ayuda Directa and we will give you a donor bank code. With this number, you can send your deposits through the bank.

You will frequently receive a letter with a photo and date of the child or adolescent who will be benefiting from your support. Naturally, you must guarantee your deposit and contribution for a period of time (at least 3-5 years).

The cost for financing a student is 185 Euros ($200 USD) per year.

Around 15% of the contribution will be used as an emergency fund for the student or to promote initiatives in his/her community.

(*) Guagua means child in Kichwa, the language spoken by the indigenous population in the Andean region. Kichwa is a derivative of Kechwa (spoken in Peru), which is the language of the Incas.
