Ever since the summers from 2002 to 2005 we have collaborated with the childrens shelter Mother Maria de Belen de Conocoto and with The Juvenile Center for Women in Quito. In the first institute there are sheltered minors and children who have given birth to babies who have been rejected by their families or have been victims of sexual abuse. The Juvenile Center, however, shelters orphans or children from broken or difficult family situations.

The presence of a psychologist-educator has given possibility for providing concrete help to these children so they can find a way of leaving their difficult situations.

In the Center Maria de la Paz in Machala we have brought the same type of help from 2004 to 2006.

From April 2003 to 2006 we also helped The Rosa Virginia Training Center in Portoviejo. In this center, children who have been victim to prostitution are sheltered here. We pay for a teacher in manual arts in effort to provide ceramic course
