The first "choza" in La Esperanza has been built

The first step towards the creation of the center for tourism is the traditional house (choza) built by the inhabitants of La Esperanza.

The volunteer work, done in a manner entitled "minga" (unifying towards a common goal), is keeping alive ancient knowledge that is slowly being swept under the carpet as well as including members of the community of all ages in the group effort.

Upon completion, the idea is to have an "eco-touristic" structure managed autonomously by the community.
